Growing so fast..too fast maybe

So I think it's time for a new camera. Mine has been with us since before Adam and I got married..in fact before we were engaged. It is just being really wacky and when I upload the photos it turns them different colors as though they were on paper and got wet. It's a huge bummer but I was planning on getting a new one soonish anyway.

Because my ruined camera I can't upload new photos of my adorable son. And I took some great ones of him and our dog today. He was throwing the bone to her and letting her out of her cage. It was very cute! I also caught him standing up at the fridge just checking everythig out. Thats what happens when mommy leaves it open. He looked like such a little man though.

Saying he looked like a little man brought me on to something I think about often and I'm not sure if anyone else does. Sometimes I look at my son and my husband and then my mother in law looking at her son, and I think, that's going to be me one day. And this year has just flown by so fast will twenty more fly by just as fast. Am I going to be asking him to call more aften and wondering who he is dating? I know it's silly but I treasure every moment I have with him and I know I will always love him two or eighty. But I'm hoping that I don't turn around one day and realize my son is seventeen not one. Yes, silly I know and he has sixteens years to go. I ws just sharing my paranoya with everyone.

Because I couldn't upload new photos I thought I would upload some old ones. Remembering my little stinker was a little baby and next month he will be a big one year old!
The one on the left was taken when he was about a week old and the one on the right (which is one of my very favorites) was taken at about 7 1/2 weeks old.

Well more soon!

  1. I love this post! It's so true. I've had the horrible thought, "Oh no! I'm going to be someone's MOTHER-IN-LAW someday!!!" I love the picture of you guys at the bottom of the blog, what a nice little family.
