All Grown Up

Logan went the entire day yesterday and today without having one accident! I'm not saying he is fully potty trained but we are getting there.=) He is also on his second day with no bottles. He uses regular cups and sippy cups now. I thought that was going to be difficult but he was totally fine with it.
I'm very proud of my big boy! Because he has done so well, I got him a reward. I got him an Iron man and "piderman" shirt. He was soo happy! Every morning all he wants me to put on him is iron man or piderman. But we only have 3 and so some mornings I have a very angry bare chested child. Now we have shirts for five days!=) And Ricki you are so right! Potty training feels like such an accomplishment for me. So yes, I'm proud of myself too.

Not sure if I mentioned this before but his one and only movie he will watch is "This is It" (the Micheal Jackson movie). He only wants to watch and listen to "EEHEE" that's what he calls it. His favorite song is "Beat It" and he sings it. His latest move is holding up is arms and going "AAAHHH...OUH!". Yes, he is obsessed. So we have incorporated our potty into this. Hah!

At the park in his new Iron man shirt without diapers or bottles. I have a one year old going on seven! I guess he is allot like me after all!=)

It's a hat!

Today Logan demanded to wear his Elmo's (his Elmo's being his undies). So, I explained to him that he has to go on the potty every time he has to go. Right now he goes #2 everyday on the potty and peepee only when he feels like it. So I can't have him peeing all over the place, obviously. So I had him pee on the potty and let him wear them. We had to run out the door to grab Ryder from preschool, so I brought diapers, underwear and extra clothes. I also brought a training potty and put in the back of my suv. There is hard plastic that is very easy to clean back there and it's great if they have to go really bad. Thats what I did for Ryder last month, who is now fully potty trained. Granted Ryder is 2 1/2. Anywho, we then went to Target, dropped off Ryder, a friends house and then the health food store and he didn't have one accident! He told me everytime he had to go and held it when I told him we were almost there. I am very proud. But I know this is just the begining. I have a rough road ahead because I have decided to take off the diapers and go full force ahead... into potty training. Let the force be with me!

Because I have made this bold choice, we needed to get more underwear. As of now he has three pairs of "Elmo's" and let's face it, he's going to go through more then three... maybe in a day.=(
So we brought them home and he was very excited about them being the disney characters.

So excited... he had to wear two at a time! Did I mention he is really into hats right now?!

Little Dragon

My mom sent Logan some really rad pjs, they have a cape and hood. They are from the new movie, "How to Train your Dragon" So the pjs are dragons! They are very cute and of course, Logan looks cute in them. His first response was, "monter" and then to Ryder, "I eat you!" and then he proceeded to naw on the chair that Ryder sat in. He really is the sweetest thing!
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Epps!

Spring flowers

Favorite thing... CHALK!!
Logan has alsobeen watering his plants everyday (with help and reminders from mommy of course.)
But they are doing pretty good and really add to the entrance of our house.

I have been doing cloth and using disposables when doing laundry. Or I have been doing laundry every night. So I finally decided I had to either buy more cloth or more diposables. I decided on cloth. I'm very happy with my choice. I got my new stash in the mail last week and wow is it nice to not do laundry every night. And I got these amazing hemp inserts that absorb sooo much! Logan had his first completely dry night the first time I tried them. I also bought some Indian cloth diapers and they are so soft and abosrbent. They are only $1.75 each too. I use Flip covers that are OS and then I have differen inserts that I lay inside. They get dirty throw them in the wash and so on. It's pretty simple. If anyone is interested in where I get my diapers, it's cottondiapers.com (free shipping).

Logan has also been spending alot of time with his Grandpa Jamie.

Going for walks, hangning out and the occasional sofa nap.

Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny must have known about how mommy doesn't really give Logan sugar. He was a sweetheart and left chocolate covered raisins sweetned by fruit juice and organic gummies sweetened by fruit juice..Logan was in heaven! He had never tasted something so yummy! He also would not share. He got the hang of the finding the egg thing pretty fast and insisted on taking his basket everywhere we went yesterday. Poor got up today and was looking for eggs, I had one left and let him have it. He deserved it!=)

Easter Bunny left super cool stuff!
He loves Woody right now. Potty break and Woody had to come.

He had such a blast and I had so much watching him have a blast!

Bye Bye Daddy

Adam left on Thurday morning. He will be gone for 2 1/2 months...ugh..yes I can do this. I am a bit worried about Logan but he talks to daddy everyday sype or by phone. He also watches daddy on tv (music videos on dvd).
So it was sad dropping him off at the airport and Logan was so sweet and cute. I played photographer and took photos non-stop. They loved it..kinda.

Logan and daddy <3

Logan demanded to help all the way through the airport.

Logan was very concerned about daddy's "gudar".

Oranges and outdoors

We have been spendin alot of time out doors in our backyard and Logan loves it. He chases Emly with his Ironman and spider man, throws around balls, blow bubbles. It's just lovely!=)

My dirty boy playing outdoors..still adorable!

Sooo Florida!

Logan's absolute favorite shoes!

Laughing it up with his buddy Ryder.
